
Sarita joined WWB in July 2007. She is responsible for ensuring that WWB meets its annual fundraising goals, is positioned for strategic growth, and remains a thought leader in the sector through its publications and speaking engagements.
Sarita has a 25-year career in the non-profit sector, encompassing program development, fundraising, communications, marketing and management. Just prior to joining WWB, she headed the fundraising and communications efforts at Acumen Fund, which seeks entrepreneurial approaches to alleviate global poverty; and before that held various fundraising and management positions at CARE, a leading humanitarian organization. Sarita has also worked for the American Friends Service Committee, the Asia Society, and a U.S. State Department-funded project on refugee resettlement.
Sarita holds a Masters degree from the School of International & Public Affairs at Columbia University, and a Bachelors degree from Miranda College, Delhi University, India.

Carola Saba is the Development Manager at Women's World Banking, responsible for bilateral, multilateral and selected private sources of funding. She supports WWB's efforts to meet fundraising goals for operations and programs, and works closely with the President to implement WWB's funding strategy. Carola maintains strong working relationships with existing and prospective funding partners. She provides inputs to WWB strategy building processes, strategy documents and internal processes. She coordinates the process of mission reviews, appraisals and evaluations required by funders and she ensures compliance with the terms and reporting requirements of grant contracts.
Carola has worked in international development and microfinance for the past ten years. Prior to joining WWB, she worked at the United Nations Capital Development Fund, where she was one of five core team members who coordinated the 2005 U.N. International Year of Microcredit. She was responsible for mobilizing more than 60 government-led committees around the world, and she led the Global Microentrepreneurship Awards Program. Carola holds a Master?s degree in Public Administration from New York University, and a Certificate in Management from Harvard University.

Julie oversees WWB's publications and editorial strategy to convey the organization's learnings and experiences in microfinance in order to help shape the debate for critical issues in the sector. She develops publications and manages the editing and production process.
Prior to joining WWB, Julie was a communications manager for the Stanford Institute for Higher Education Research working on issues surrounding access to college for underrepresented students and education policies related to the transition from high school to college. She has also worked as an associate editor and freelance writer for trade magazines in the education, restaurant and brewing industries. She received a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.

Rodney joined WWB as Web Developer in May 2008 and oversees design and programming of WWB’s web site and online efforts. He coordinates online engagement for the organization and evaluates new internet opportunities in order to expand WWB’s web exposure. He is also introducing new media outlets for dissemination of WWB’s expertise.
Prior to joining WWB, Rodney was the Communications & Technology Coordinator for the Hispanic AIDS Forum, managing all aspects surrounding network infrastructure, media engagements and web development. He has also worked in technical roles for the American Red Cross in Greater New York, Goldman Sachs via Alphanet Solutions Consulting, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and the Museum of Natural History in New York City.
He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Puerto Rico. Rodney was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is a native Spanish speaker.

Robert A. McNeill is an Editor on WWB's Development and Communications team. He is responsible for editing and coordinating the production of WWB's printed publications and other communications vehicles. Robert was born in Los Angeles, California, and educated at University of California at Santa Barbara and Stanford University. He joined WWB's global team in 2006.

Bella Camacho Mordeno is a Development Associate for WWB’s Development Team responsible for supporting the Team in fundraising from bilateral, multilateral and private sources outside of the USA and for preparing proposals, narrative and financial reports for funders.
Prior to joining WWB, Bella worked as a Resource Development Manager for People’s Credit & Finance Corporation (PCFC), the apex microfinance institution in the Philippines where she was in charge of managing the operations of the Resource Development Department and meeting PCFC’s funding requirements for lending, capacity-building and special projects. In concurrent capacity, she was also the Head of Secretariat of People’s Development Trust Fund where she managed the administration and disbursement of the Fund aimed to strengthen the microfinance industry in the Philippines. She worked for the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (a government-owned corporation engaged in agricultural insurance and credit guarantee program) where she held various positions (i.e. Management Analyst, Regional Evaluator/Management Specialist and Senior Field Operations Specialist). She worked likewise as a Research Assistant for the University of the Philippines’ College of Development Economics and Management and for SEARCA.
Bella, a national of the Philippines, has a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of the Philippines, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Philippine Christian University.

Liliana Proano is a Development Associate for WWB’s Development team. She is responsible for producing financial and written reports for funders as well as supporting the team overall on fundraising efforts.
Prior to joining WWB, Liliana Proano was working at Banco De Chile in New York City as a Junior trader and a back office specialist in Foreign Exchange.
Liliana also has experience teaching high school students Spanish , English and conversational French as she is fluent in those languages.
She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and International studies and she is actually pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy focusing on Economic Development at the Seton Hall University in New Jersey. Liliana is a Colombian national.

Stephanie Waxman serves as Development Associate responsible for US private giving, including foundations, corporations, and individuals. She supports WWB’s fundraising efforts through relationship building with current funders and reaching out to new prospective funders.
Stephanie has worked in international development for several years. Most recently she was with CNFA Inc., a private contractor focused on agricultural development projects, where she implemented the day-to-day activities of the USAID Farmer-to-Farmer Agricultural Development Program. She has also worked with Development Alternatives Inc. (DAI), the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES), and American Councils for International Education.
Stephanie holds a Masters degree in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and she completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science at the University of California, San Diego.
