Over the past year, WWB has been very successful in building our presence in the US through our headquarters office in New York City. We are planning in 2010 to expand our voice, vision and mission to the West Coast. We saw a great opportunity to do this at Maria Shriver's 2009 Women's Conference, which brought together 25,000 women to become architects of change in the world. The conference was meant to inspire, empower and transform lives. The long list of esteemed speakers included Maria Shriver, Madeleine Albright, Valerie Jarrett, Geena Davis, Sheila Bair, Eve Ensler, Cheryl Saban, Caroline Kennedy, Katie Couric, Elizabeth Edwards, Lisa Ling and Nicholas Kristof. The conference allowed WWB to reach out to a new audience and begin building a base of supporters on the West Coast.
