Mexico City, Mexico — Women’s World Banking, the Federation of Latin American Banks (FELABAN), and the Mexican Bankers Association hosted a day-long seminar for close to 100 Mexican bankers on May 17, 2007, in Mexico City, to share strategies for successful bank entry into the Latin American microfinance sector. The event was also sponsored by the Inter-American Development BankMultilateral Investment Fund (IADB-MIF) and Andean Finance Corporation (CAF).
