Angela started sewing when she was 13 and had a vision from childhood: “I always wanted to be someone in life, a person of talent, a woman of success.” Angela took her first loan of $300 from WWB’s network member ADOPEM in Dominican Republic to finance her dressmaking business in 1997. She didn’t have any assets for collateral, but guaranteed with her word that she would repay her loan.
