Dr. Marilou van Golstein Brouwers is Managing Director of Triodos Investment Management, BV, part of the Triodos Bank group in the Netherlands, where she has worked since 1990. She is responsible for three international funds that invest in microfinance and one fund that invests in renewable energy. Dr. van Golstein Brouwers has served on the boards of a number of microfinance banks: Akiba Commercial Bank, Tanzania; Centenary Rural Development Bank in Uganda; K-REP Bank, Kenya; and KMB, Russia. She also serves on the Executive Committee of CGAP, a consortium of agencies working to expand access to financial services for the poor. She joined the WWB Board of Trustees in 2003.
