Ann Kaplan is the Chair of Circle Financial Group, a wealth management membership organization through which individuals gain access to disciplined best practices and providers of investment opportunities, tax and estate planning, and philanthropy. Ann is also an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Columbia University School of Business. She teaches a course, titled "Investment and Wealth Management."

Ann was previously a General Partner of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and a Managing Director after the firm became a public company. She was a member of the Fixed Income Division, focusing primarily on public finance, for 23 years. During her last three years at the firm, she was a member of the Asset Management Division focusing on wealth management. Ann serves on the Boards of Financial Guaranty Insurance Company and Signature Bank, corporations headquartered in New York City. She also serves on the Boards of the American Red Cross, Columbia University, Smith College, the Museum of Arts & Design, the Board of Overseers of the Columbia University School of Business, and the Bond Market Foundation.

She is a member of the Committee of 200, the International Women's Forum and the Economic Club of New York. Ann holds an M.S.W. and M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in government from Smith College. Ann joined the FWWB/USA Board of Directors in 2005.
